This excerpt is from my 2018 interview with Jack Zimmerman, a wise elder with a lifelong dedication to education and a successful private couple’s therapy practice currently based in Hawaii. Jack has coauthored three books with his life partner, Jaquelyn McCandless, including “Flesh and Spirit: The Mystery of Intimate Relationship” and “Jack and Jaquelyn: An Adventure in Evolutionary Intimacy.” Furthermore, he is the author of a book of poems entitled “An Exuberance of Love” and the recent work “Love Beyond Boundaries: An Elder Explores the Evolution of Intimacy.” Additionally, he has coauthored “The Way of Council” with Gigi Coyle.
