Granules, also known as powders, extracts or herbal extract powders, are formed by binding concentrated liquid of decocted herbs to an excipient or medium. Depending on the properties of each herb, the excipients used are either non-GMO potato starch or grounded herbs.

Instructions on how to take your herbal formula

You can dissolve the herbal powder in plain boiling water or ginger tea. Stir the powder and let the tea cool off before drinking. Preferably, the herbs should be taken on an empty stomach, either 20-30 minutes before meals or at least an hour after meals.

The standard daily dosage for the average adult is 6.0 grams. Assuming this dosage, a 100-gram bottle will provide about 16-17 daily doses. A level teaspoon of granules is equal to approximately 3 grams. I will provide you with a 1-gram plastic white spoon for easy measuring and use. I recommend that one teaspoon of granules or three 1-gram spoonful’s be taken once in the morning and again in the evening but always read the label in the bottle since I may have other ideas for your customized herbal formula.
