Helichrysum (everlasting) Essential Oil (EO) is a kind helper when it comes to wound healing and for scars resulting from accidents or cosmetic surgery. It is especially effective when used together with rosehip seed oil which you can use as a carrier or added to jojoba oil. The triple unsaturated fatty acids strengthen the cell membranes and, combined with the regenerative qualities of helychrisum, heal wound with minimal or no scarring.
A preparation for external use
Helychrisum (EO) 0.5mL or 7 drops
Lavender (EO) 0.5mL or 7 drops
Rosehip oil 15mL
Hazelnut oil 15mL

If you are dealing with old, unsightly scars as well as slow healing wounds and keloids you may need to experiment with the below preparation:
A preparation for treating old scars
Helychrisum (EO) 0.5mL or 7 drops
Sage (EO) 0.5mL or 7 drops
Rosehip oil 15mL
Hazelnut oil 85mL

Note: Both preparations are for external use only. If you are allergic to nuts, you can use Jojoba or Avocado oil instead of Hazelnut oil.
